My Tyra

Since I was very young, I've loved fashion. It more or less began with reading magazines, watching tv such as the TV show; Amercias Next Topmodel. That was the program that introduced me to Tyra Banks, who's now one of my idols. In my eyes she symbolized strong women and for me she's a true role-model and good example that everything is possible if you want it bad enough. She began as a model, later turned to TV and now she has released books, had a talk-show and much, much more.  She has had a huge influence on the runway with her characteristic walk and fierce look. She's the founder of the word "smize" - if you don't know how to do it yet, go learn, it will help your portraits to be even more fabulous!!  Here's some of my favorit pictures of Tyra, enjoy.

Who's inspiring you?

Art by Dior

Just got home after some shopping with my boyfriend <3 LOVE. I'm going to spend my whole weekend, working on the article for MUSE.

If you're into fashion, you see it as art. That's how I feel at least, some people might argue against it... I get through a rush of different emotions when I sit down and study a shoot. Some touches me more then others, but I will try and give you some examples of which photos I enjoy and find inspirational. Dior is known for their amazing Haute Couture and Patrick Demarchelier has caught some moments in these shoots, that absolutely rocks my world. They are all to be find in the book "Dior COUTURE" - a good idea for a christmas present :)

Have a great weekend, enjoy the pictures and happy 2nd Dec1 - x C

Me.

me!

To study fashion is a lot of things. I find myself lucky that I can spend my time at uni, doing my hobby. Everyday since I was a little girl, I've been reading Vogue and I've been making my own drawings, but when I got in at TEKO where my main studies are, everything changed. You learn and hear about things you never heard about. You find out what your weaknesses and strengths are, but most important you find out who you really are yourself. When you're young you're also very naive in many ways. Learning by doing is one of my life philosophies and sometimes you have to trip in the process of learning it the correct way. I tripped many times, but somehow I always managed to find ground to stand on again.

What doesnt kill you makes you stronger, grap the pencil and continue drawing till you're happy with the result. Cut the fabric till it has the correct shape. Try another jacket if the outfit doesn't go well together...

This is just a handful of some of my work. The point of this blog is, that if you have a dream, dont be scared of following it. Everything's possible, just carry on and keep walking.
