Getting old..

Wow I actually still cant believe it myself... I'm turning 25 in a few weeks and I think it's now my scary age! I know most people feels like being 40 is old - this is almost the same in my opinion... I have been trying to not focus too much on the number 25 and instead allowed myself to look up a few items that I (YE I WISH) wish for my birthday, most of them being a little unrealistic but it's OK to dream right?

Here they are, enjoy - oh and ye by the way! - I just hit 100 followers!!!! Thank you guys SO much. I spend quite a lot of time myself, reading your blogs and checking out your pictures and I really enjoy it :-) So keep on rocking with your blogging!

I lost my D&G Watch dnno how, so I need a new watch and I really like these plastic ones - specially this one from DKNY! It's £99 at your local watch-shop probably.

After I sit on my GUCCI glasses in Thailand I haven't allowed myself to purchase another pair of expensive shades.  I think its time to shine up my look with a new pair. I like these ones from GUCCI as well but I cant make up my mind.

Biggest dream ever, a Marc Jacobs Classic Q Hillier Hobo £350 at Selfridge&CO

To match ofc! Marc Jacobs Classic Q vertical zippy £155 at Selfridge&CO

Princess for a night

As I already mentioned I have been staying in Scotland for the last 4 months, just got back home to Denmark 2 days ago, had an exam the day after I arrived - pretty intense I must say! But I passed with a blast and I was super happy about that! But my last weekend in Aberdeen was pretty fucking amazing actually... My boyfriend is doing his third year placement atm. working for a oil company and they held a massive ball every year, which was this last saturday. He wore a kilt of course, as a true Scotsman!

Before I became a princess ;-)

I was wearing:
Dress from Zara
Heals from Kurt Geiger
Clutch from Belsac
Jacket from Minimum

Focus; Marchesa

We all have our favourite brands, shops, designers and for me one of them is Marchesa. I have been following them on facebook for quite some time now, and no matter what time during the day that I either check facebook on my pc or on my iPhone, I ALWAYS have time to look at some pictures on their page. Their gowns whether its from the ready-to-wear or high-fashion collection is just absolutely stunning. This new brand is slowly taking over the red carped and more and more celebrities are seen wearing their amazing designs. Recently Land Rover sponsored their fashion show as well. Vogue UK recently mentioned Charlotte Free in their "2012 Hot List" to be one of the models to take over the runway this year, and she was walking the Marchesa s12 show, with pink hair (then you should know who she is!!) Personally I find their evening gowns full of fantasy and adventure they use and set the fabrics in a very unique way which for me, brings out the best in the person who is wearing it. Many of their designs are timeless and breathtaking and I must say I dream of ones being able to wear one of their pieces.

As written on Vogue: "If Fashion Week is like high school, Marchesa is the prom queen..." I couldn't have said it better myself, just beautiful.

Throw these goodies at me..

A thing I really love about winter is the fashion. Big jumpers, big boots, cosy jackets - bring it all on - AS LONG AS it doesn't snow.... Yep that's right! I love winter but I hate snow. Cold sunny days, minus degrees and the birds freezing in threes, I love those days. Make sure to dress for it, and don't hold back - there is absolutely no reason to dress boring. Here is a few goodies that will help the winter to become even more fantastic and magical.

I was lucky to get a pair of Ugg's for Christmas, and if you don't have a pair yourself already - GET ONE! They are so comfy and suits this cold weather so well, I get sad when I have to take mine off. Ugg have also made some nice accessories to go with the boots and I quite like these gloves and this scarf;

Golden Globe 2012

So one of the highlights of the year for us fashion-lovers! I love checking out what the celebrities are wearing and this year was no exception - and oh my some of the dresses was AMAZING! So I will therefore share my favourites and also a few that didn't impress me so much - the bummers :-)

Charlize Theron in an AMAZING couture piece from Dior

Emma Stone - Lanvin. Loving the belt
Gorgeous Mila Kunis in Dior

Still looking amazing, Nicole Kidman in Versace

Paula Patton in a yellow Monique Lhullier gown

Selma Hayek working Gucci

Sofia Vergara in an amazing gown from Vera Wang
What were you thinking...
Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen. I know its in white grey hair and everything but I dont think its for everybody. Gaga  pulls it off, but I think Kelly should stick to something for simple. And this dress, just a no-go.
Michelle William in Jason Wu. She is one of the biggest young stars atm. but this dress just screams grandma' to me. Just I know velvet is modern and so is animal pattern (just again...), but that doesn't mean putting them together gives a great result!

Natalie Portman in Lanvin. I hate to write this, cause I absolutely love her - but why PINK? Oh man....

2012

Happy New Year and a massive apology for being inactive over Christmas.

I pretty must plugged out and turned off my brain during the holidays, I really needed it. I hope all of you had a great time, and thanks for all your amazing comments and feedback and welcome to the new followers :-) It is most appreciated.. So back to reality. I did my last exam here in Scotland 2 days ago, which was my closed book exam for the module Fashion Communication. It went al right I think. One of the questions was regarded one of my favourite photographers of all time, Corinne Day - who's not with us no more, R.I.P. The photos was of a really young Kate Moss;

So next Monday I'm heading back to Denmark to finish my course. I'm super excited to finish, you can't imagine :-) Hope everybody had a great start of 2012! BRING IT ON!
